The bespoke kitchen embodies the new heart of the home. The owners of the house were not happy with the old layout of the kitchen and wanted the kitchen to be more prominent within the house. Therefore, the kitchen was swapped with the dining room, creating a connection to the living room. The kitchen now forms the central space of the home, where the family comes together. This room is not just for cooking, but to entertain, discuss, argue, laugh, cook and enjoy. That for the island is the central element for this project. The island functions as an extension of the dining table. One of the main features of the kitchen is the concrete wall behind the kitchen unit. The wall has a recessed, illuminated niche displaying the most beautiful cups, vases, and decorations. The concrete wall harmonizes very well with the worktop and the kitchen island, as they are all made from concrete. The concrete wall and the white cabinet fronts create a strong contrast within the space. Little red accents and flowers on the kitchen island break the clean and modern esthetic of the modern space.
