Studio for Architecture & Interior Design

Studio Construct is a multidisciplinary studio working in architecture and interior design. The studio is based in Barcelona, Spain and was founded in June 2023 by Alexander David Berkmann. Alexander received his Master degree in Architecture from the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam and has been a member of the architectural chamber of the Netherlands since 2023. In Oktober 2025 he also became a member of the architectural chamber in Germany, Hessen. Alexander has been working in several architectural companies in the Netherlands and in Germany for 7 years.

The goal of the studio is to create innovative and comprehensive concepts tailored to each clients needs by combining our expertise. We believe that good architecture is created in collaboration and in dialogue with the clients, consultants and specialists as well as the authorities. For us, architecture is a complex puzzle that balances the ambitions, regulations, budget and context in an economic and sustainable way, to create a meaningful space. 

The studio is committed to deliver thoughtful and practical design solutions, ensuring every project is handled with care and creativity. We want to push the boundaries of conventional design to create spaces that are both visually appealing and functional by emphasising environments that inspire and leave a lasting impression. To achieve this, Studio Construct focuses on creating meaningful experiences. 

The Studio believes that in our world it is very important and necessary for people to understand how our products are made and the impact they have on our world. Climate change, energy consumption, digitalization and urbanization have ugly heavily impacted the way we strive to become cleaner, quieter and more active and collective. Therefore, studio construct believes that it is necessary to rethink, innovate and inspire the way we create and design spaces. Exploring new ideas, materials, and technologies ensures that our design remains new and relevant.
